Even though I still haven’t even finished organizing my clothes to sell off and clean out my closet, I did a little shopping during this last trip to Las Vegas and picked up a few things. Thank God for the 60% off sale over at Off Saks
Be sure to click each picture to enlarge to see the details!
Also, both pictures feature my absolutely uncomfortable, but freaking amazing new shoes.

For the last, oh, seven months, I’ve had the best of intentions with this blog cross over from LJ (for confused folks reading this over on LJ, I’m cross posting from my WordPress blog), but goddamn! I keep getting totally bogged down because there are just so many options. It’s crazy. Don’t get me wrong, I am certainly appreciative of having total customizability right at my finger tips, but man- every time I come here with the intention of posting, I get crazy distracted by the fact that the header looks bad or the blogroll isn’t right, on and on. Someday, I’ll be rich enough to bribe someone into making this stuff for me, then I’ll actually blog with greater frequency. Well, either that or I’ll just have one ugly ass blog. Too soon to tell, but I’m leaning toward the latter option.
That said, I’ve been sick the last few days with God knows what, so I’ve been surviving on a healthy and robust diet of Saltine crackers and Gatorade. I have a dream that someday I will be able to eat a cheeseburger again, but I am not holding out hope. This is how it’s going to end for me- covered in crumbs with red dye stained teeth. Sad.

Le Angelique Inverted Cone Curling Iron
Available all over, though the most popular places are BeautyChoice.com ($69, but there are regularly sales and discount codes if you Google around) and Amazon (the Amazon link is currently sold out , but when it was in stock last month, I paid $39).
What you get in the box: the iron (pictured above) in either black or pink, a heat resistant glove, and two sectioning clips.
Quite legitimately, this is the single most amazing curling iron I’ve ever used. I’m not sure if it is because of what it is made of, the shape, or magical fairies, but I’ve never had something curl my hair faster, better, or longer lasting. I freaking love this curling iron. Continue reading →

That got your attention, non?
A weird double-standard-of-sorts that exists in our society has been increasingly coming to for forefront of my attention lately. I suppose that it is something I’ve been aware of and fallen victim to my entire life, but it seems to be absolutely everywhere lately.
Boobs. Like everything good in the world, my latest point of intrigue has involved what is perhaps the world’s most popular food delivery method (sporks, while utilitarian, just don’t have the media punch that tits seem to have). I’m not here to rant about the sexualization of women in general or anything of the sort, but rather the fact that women with large chests are regularly the butt (breast?) of jokes, but never would a similar word be uttered about flat chested girls.
